Cattleya Johnette Bowers
The genus Cattleya (C) contains quite a few species from tropical South America. They do best in a medium that has good drainage and dry between watering. Give them a short dryer rest after blooming.


This plant is in sphagnum over peanuts in a seven inch clay pot. There are three pseudobulbs with great roots and stands fourteen inches above the pot.
This is a Carter & Holmes cross registered in 1995. It is C Swan Lake 'Cimmeron Valley' AM/AOS (1964) x C Lucille Small 'Marshall' FCC/AOS (1960).
