Anguloa virginalis


The genus Anguloa (Ang) contains 10 terrestrial species in northern South America. They need a short dry rest.
Anguloa virginalis grows in Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia. It is a cool to cold growing fragrant terrestrial found in deeply shaded humid forest.
The other plant was crowding the edge, so to make room for the next new growth I removed the two oldest backbulbs.
08/01/2008 - Began the new growth on the second generation. Probably blooming next year.
08/01/2007 - A repot backbulb from shaping the original plant.
